چکیده

The cultivation of salt-tolerant rice (sea rice) along beaches has become an effective measure for the restoration and utilization saline-sodic land, so this paper studies effects irrigation nitrogen fertilization on soil Na+ in root zone sea yield, provides a scientific basis planting rice. A pot experiment (two-factor split plot) with salt stress (10 g NaCl/kg soil) was carried out. main plot consists three types methods: flooding (F), intermittent (I), controlled (C). subplots are fertilizers: urea (U), controlled-release (R), mixed fertilizer (M) U R. results showed: (1) water-soluble MI significantly smaller than that other treatments NaCl, but Ca2+/Na+ Mg2+/Na+ were opposite. (2) uptake dry weight larger those respectively 23% 32% higher UI, 49% 16% MF, 56% 38% UF, 75% 61% RI, 76% 50% RF. (3) yield increased by 105%, 154%, 262%, 338%, 428% compared RF, respectively. Therefore, can effectively reduce increase layer soil, promote absorption production So article recommends M I methods should be adapted to plant coastal soil.

Yield and nitrogen leaching in maize field under different nitrogen rates and partial root drying irrigation

Irrigation water is limiting for crop production in arid and semi-arid areas. Furthermore, excess nitrogen (N) application is a source of groundwater contamination. Partial root drying irrigation (PRD) can be used as water saving technique and a controlling measure of groundwater N contamination. The objectives of this investigation were to evaluate the effect of ordinary furrow irrigation (OFI...

Effect of Irrigation Timing on Root Zone Soil Temperature, Root Growth and Grain Yield and Chemical Composition in Corn

High air temperatures during the crop growing season can reduce harvestable yields in major agronomic crops worldwide. Repeated and prolonged high night air temperature stress may compromise plant growth and yield. Crop varieties with improved heat tolerance traits as well as crop management strategies at the farm scale are thus needed for climate change mitigation. Crop yield is especially sen...
